Personal information we collect
We collect registration email, hashed password, date of birth, optional self-reported sect, Islamic school, Hindu caste/community or Christian denomination, profile details, city, country, optional current street address, required mobile phone number, languages spoken, mother tongue, employment status, profile photo, and requests, chats and decisions needed to run the matrimonial service. Matrimonial community information may be sensitive personal data in some jurisdictions.
What people can see
Only administrator-approved profiles are discoverable. You can additionally limit your profile to logged-in approved members. Visible information may include your chosen display name, approximate age calculated from date of birth, religion and optional self-reported community detail (if you chose to provide it), profession, education, work or study status, languages spoken, mother tongue, city, country and public biography. Your optional current street address is stored privately for account information and is never shown to other members. Site operators with database access may access it. Your email, mobile number (unless you separately approve sharing) and complete date of birth remain private.
Locked photos
Photos can be locked by default. Other approved members can request access. You must approve each request before the photo is served to that member. You may revoke access; however, someone who already viewed an image might have saved a copy. Profile photos are stored in server-protected directories and checked for authorization on each request.
Match approvals and private chat
An expression of interest alone does not enable messaging. Chat is available only when the recipient accepts the match and both profiles remain active and approved. Chat messages are stored and may be visible to site administrators with database access. Do not send sensitive private information in messages.
Phone and WhatsApp sharing
Your phone number is not displayed on any public profile. After matching and exchanging messages, another member can request to see your number. That member receives access only if you specifically approve that request. WhatsApp links use the approved number. Revoking access prevents future access through this website, but cannot erase information someone already saw or saved.
Delete account and retention
Account deletion removes your user record and related profiles, interests, photo requests, chat messages and contact permissions from the application database. The operator must separately specify its backup retention and any legal retention obligations.
Safety and further details
Members must be at least 18. Do not put addresses or contact information in biographies. Before launching, the operator must provide valid contact details, data retention schedules, appropriate lawful bases and consent procedures, international transfer details, safeguards, legal rights, and security incident contact process.
